From design to assembly: everything in-house.
Leuridan is a company located in the west of Flanders, specialised in machine constructions for wastewater treatment. They use Solid Edge, a powerful 3D package to draw their constructions in detail. CEO Wim Leuridan is pleased to share his experience with this software package.
As a specialist in water treatment, Leuridan mainly builds machine constructions for municipalities. A small share is in industrial water treatment. Since many years, the constructions are drawn with Solid Edge by 2 in-house designers. The efficient 3D design platform allows them to test their construction in full virtual reality to minimise manufacturing problems and reduce costs.
After detailed research and evaluation of various 3D software on the market, Wim resolutely chose Solid Edge in 2011. The design manager of the powerful package was immediately decisive for him. Wim followed an extensive training course to master the software. "It took a while before I really mastered it because I had no previous knowledge. With our colleagues designers, who already had a lot of experience with NX, the integration went very smoothly," Wim says.

"After 10 years, we couldn't do without Solid Edge. By drawing the construction in detail, we suddenly get a lot of information and can work in a much more detailed way.
